Royal Enfield Reports 30% Sales Growth in December 2025

Royal Enfield posted sales of 103,574 motorcycles in December 2025, marking a 30% increase over the 79,466 units sold during the same month in the previous financial year. The company's domestic sales reached 93,177 units, reflecting a 37% year-on-year growth from 67,891 units in December 2024.

The December performance represents an acceleration from November's 22% growth rate, when the company sold 100,670 motorcycles. Domestic demand remained the primary growth driver, with December's 37% domestic growth rate outpacing November's 25% increase.

Export sales declined 10% to 10,397 motorcycles in December 2025, compared to 11,575 units exported during the same period last year. This marks a reversal from November, when exports had grown 2% year-on-year.

For the year-to-date period of the 2025-26 financial year, Royal Enfield's total sales reached 921,098 motorcycles, representing a 27% increase over the 727,077 units sold during the corresponding period of the previous financial year. Domestic sales for the period stood at 821,908 units, up 26% from 652,856 units, while exports grew 34% to 99,190 units from 74,221 units.

B. Govindarajan, Managing Director of Eicher Motors and Chief Executive Officer of Royal Enfield, said December closed a year of growth and new product launches. He noted that new motorcycles introduced during the year received positive response from customers, and that existing models continued to generate demand.

During December, Royal Enfield opened the second edition of its Journeying Across The Himalayas festival in New Delhi, a cultural event focused on the Himalayan region. The company also displayed custom motorcycles at the Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show in Japan and launched the refreshed Hunter 350 in Nepal with updated features and new color options.

Royal Enfield, established in 1901, operates through more than 2,074 stores across India and nearly 1,212 stores in over 80 countries. The company maintains production facilities near Chennai and technical centers in India and the United Kingdom. Its current model lineup includes motorcycles ranging from 350cc to 650cc engine capacity across multiple segments.
