Royal Enfield achieved its highest-ever monthly sales record with 1,14,002 motorcycles sold in August 2025, surpassing the previous record of 1,10,574 units set in October 2024. The performance represents a 55% increase from 73,629 units sold in August 2024, while exports grew 39% to 11,126 units compared to 8,006 units in the same month last year.
The record-breaking month extends Royal Enfield's growth momentum following a 31% year-on-year increase in July 2025. Domestic sales reached 1,02,876 units in August, up 57% from 65,623 units in the previous year, marking the company's strongest domestic performance to date.
B. Govindarajan, Managing Director of Eicher Motors Ltd and Chief Executive Officer of Royal Enfield, attributed the record performance to positive momentum entering the festive season. "Our performance in August reflects a positive momentum as we step into the festive season, which traditionally drives strong demand in the domestic market. It is equally heartening to see our exports continue to perform well," Govindarajan said.
Year-to-date figures for 2025-26 show total sales of 4,67,575 motorcycles, up 27% from 3,67,801 units in the corresponding period of 2024-25. Domestic sales reached 4,07,909 units, while exports totaled 59,666 units for the period.
The company launched new color variants during August, including a Graphite Grey option for the 2025 Hunter 350 and a Shadow Ash colourway for the Guerrilla 450. The Guerrilla 450 variant is priced at Rs 2,49,000 ex-showroom Chennai.
Royal Enfield announced several upcoming events, including Motoverse 2025 scheduled for November 21-23 in Goa and the fifth season of its Art of Motorcycling creative platform. The company also introduced Himalayan Spirit, an off-road experience program at BigRock Dirt Park in Kolar.
"With the 2025 Hunter 350 and Guerrilla 450 already generating excitement, our portfolio is well poised to meet rider aspirations. Our community remains at the core of Royal Enfield, and with the announcement of Motoverse and Art of Motorcycling in November 2025, we will continue to create experiences that deepen connections and celebrate the spirit of pure motorcycling," Govindarajan said.
Royal Enfield operates through more than 2,000 stores across India and nearly 850 stores in over 60 countries globally. The company maintains production facilities at Oragadam and Vallam Vadagal near Chennai, along with technical centers in Bruntingthorpe, UK, and Chennai.
