Royal Enfield closed June 2026 with total sales of 1,14,032 units, marking a 27% year-on-year increase over the 89,540 motorcycles sold in June 2025. The growth was driven predominantly by the domestic market, which grew 34% to 1,02,930 units from 76,957 units a year ago. Exports, however, continued to decline, falling 12% to 11,102 units from 12,583 units in the corresponding period last year, extending a trend seen through the first quarter of the fiscal year.

On a year-to-date basis for FY2026-27, Royal Enfield has sold 3,30,427 motorcycles, a 24% increase over 2,65,528 units in the same period of FY2025-26. Domestic year-to-date volumes rose 32% to 3,01,174 units, while export volumes fell 20% to 29,253 units.

The month's notable development was the start of customer deliveries for the Flying Flea C6, Royal Enfield's first electric motorcycle and the debut model under its new "City+" electric mobility brand, Flying Flea. Deliveries commenced in Bengaluru, supported by a hub-and-spoke service network, a shop-in-shop retail format, and round-the-clock roadside assistance.

The company has indicated a phased, city-by-city rollout strategy for the model rather than a simultaneous national launch. B. Govindarajan, Managing Director of Eicher Motors and CEO of Royal Enfield, described the Flying Flea C6 deliveries as a milestone and pointed to steady traction across the company's existing product portfolio as a driver of overall growth. He indicated the electric brand would expand to additional regions in the coming months.

June also marked Royal Enfield's 125th anniversary observance, with the unveiling of a "World Origin Site" plaque at the location of its first factory in Redditch, England. The event featured motorcycles spanning five generations, including a 125th Anniversary Edition of the Classic 650. The company opened registrations for the inaugural Himalayan Basecamp – Ladakh Edition, an adventure gathering scheduled for September 4–6, 2026, in Leh, and flagged off the 22nd edition of the Himalayan Odyssey on June 27, 2026, expanded this year to three distinct ride formats.

With domestic demand outpacing exports for a sixth consecutive period and an electric model now in market, Royal Enfield's growth trajectory going into the second quarter of FY2026-27 will likely hinge on how quickly the Flying Flea rollout scales beyond Bengaluru and whether export markets stabilize after successive months of decline.
