Royal Enfield, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board Sign Two-Year Partnership

Royal Enfield and the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB) have entered into a two-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote motorcycle tourism, responsible riding and cultural experiences across the state.

The partnership, covering 2026 to 2028, began with the first edition of a Royal Enfield motorcycle expedition, which was flagged off in Bhopal on October 3. The expedition commenced on October 1 and will conclude on October 10.

The inaugural expedition covers more than 1,520 kilometres across Bhopal, Pachmarhi, Pench, Kanha, Bandhavgarh, Panna and Bhopal. The 10-day route takes riders through wildlife areas, heritage sites and rural routes.

Twenty riders from different parts of India are participating in the expedition on Royal Enfield Bullet 650 motorcycles.

Under the MoU, the two organisations will work on initiatives aimed at promoting responsible riding and encouraging travellers to explore destinations beyond established tourist routes. The collaboration will also focus on cultural and heritage experiences linked to motorcycle travel.

The expedition is being conducted on the recently launched Royal Enfield Bullet 650. Its route includes mountain roads, forest stretches and historic areas across Madhya Pradesh.

The expedition will conclude with a ceremony in Bhopal on October 9, featuring cultural performances, a regional meal and recognition of the participating riders.

Over the two-year partnership, Royal Enfield and MPTB plan to develop additional formats, including heritage rides, off-road trail explorations and other motorcycle-based travel experiences across the state.

The flag-off ceremony was attended by Dr Ilayaraja T., Secretary, Tourism, Government of Madhya Pradesh and Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board; Dileep Kumar Yadav, Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (MPSTDC); and Prof Amitabh Pandey, Director, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (IGRMS), Bhopal, along with officials from MPTB and Royal Enfield.
