Royal Enfield Launches New ‘Shadow Ash’ Colour Variant of Guerrilla 450 at GRRR Nights X Underground Even

Royal Enfield has unveiled a new colour variant of its Guerrilla 450 motorcycle — the ‘Shadow Ash’ — at the ‘GRRR Nights X Underground’ event in Pune. The launch, held in collaboration with Tapaswi Racing, marks the brand’s latest effort to connect with urban riders and youth-centric street culture.

The Shadow Ash variant features a matte-finish olive green fuel tank paired with blacked-out components, including the frame, exhaust, and engine covers, giving the motorcycle a rugged and stealthy appearance. This dual-tone scheme is part of the Dash variant and includes the Tripper navigation system. The motorcycle is priced at INR 2,49,000 (ex-showroom, Chennai).

Bookings for the new colourway began on August 23, 2025, with retail deliveries set to commence across India from August 25, 2025.

The launch event, ‘GRRR Nights X Underground’, attracted over 3,000 attendees and combined motorsport demonstrations with live music and street performances. The evening featured drag races, drift stunts, rider clinics, and test rides of the Guerrilla 450. A highlight was a record-breaking drift attempt by motorsport athlete Akildas T.D. from Kerala, who completed the most consecutive drift circles on a motorcycle in 43.48 seconds, surpassing his previous record.

Stunt performances were also delivered by Padma Prashanth, Sanam Sekhon, Jeet Tapaswi, and Anish Shetty, while DJ Kratex, DJ Frankie, DJ Talam, and dance group Street Force Crew contributed to the event’s urban cultural vibe.

The Guerrilla 450 is powered by a 452cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled Sherpa engine designed for responsive performance in city and highway conditions. The motorcycle is positioned as a performance-oriented urban roadster, combining aggressive styling with a robust build and dynamic handling.

Royal Enfield has also announced an extension of its warranty and roadside assistance program. All motorcycles in its lineup now come with a 7-year extended warranty — comprising the standard 3-year coverage plus an additional 4 years or 40,000 km (whichever comes first). This applies to all models, including the 650cc range, and is aimed at improving long-term ownership experience and customer confidence.

The introduction of the Shadow Ash colourway reflects Royal Enfield’s strategy to expand the appeal of the Guerrilla 450 within the competitive mid-size motorcycle segment, particularly among younger riders seeking distinctive design and urban-ready performance.
