Royal Enfield has launched its new "Conscious Collection," an apparel line developed under its Green Pursuit initiative. The collection is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to integrate sustainability into its brand and operations.

The Conscious Collection features garments made from recycled materials, organic cotton, Himalayan grass fibres, and natural dyes. The items are available in four colors derived from natural sources such as tea leaves, pomegranate rind, bio-based off-whites, and acacia catechu. Pricing for the jerseys starts at ₹1,600.

The fabrics used include:

  • 30% cotton and 70% recycled cotton single jersey knit

  • 60% recycled cotton and 40% polyester pique knit

  • 22% Himalayan grass (HimGra) and 78% cotton woven blend

The HimGra fibre, sourced from perennial Himalayan grass, requires no cultivation, has a zero seed carbon footprint, and is processed without water. Recycled components in the collection include pre-consumer waste, plastic bottles, and discarded fibres.

All tags and labels are made from organic sources, and packaging is reusable for travel and storage. The company stated that this initiative is a response to India’s growing plastic waste problem, which currently stands at around 9.3 million tonnes annually.

Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Chief Commercial Officer at Royal Enfield, said the collection reflects a shift toward mindful production and waste reduction. The brand also indicated that the new collection supports its broader commitment to sustainable product development.

The Royal Enfield Apparel division, launched in 2012, focuses on safety, comfort, and functionality.
