Royal Enfield July Sales Rise 34% To 118,232 Motorcycles
Royal Enfield reported 34% year-on-year growth in July 2026 sales, driven by higher domestic volumes, while exports posted modest gains and year-to-date exports declined.
Royal Enfield reported total sales of 118,232 motorcycles in July 2026, registering a 34% year-on-year increase compared with 88,045 units sold in the corresponding month last year. The growth was led by the domestic market, while exports recorded a more moderate increase.
Domestic sales rose 38% to 105,317 units in July from 76,254 units a year earlier. Export volumes increased 10% to 12,915 units, compared with 11,791 units in July 2025.
For the financial year to date, Royal Enfield has sold 448,659 motorcycles, up 27% from 353,573 units in the same period of FY2025-26. Domestic sales for the period increased 33% to 406,491 units, while exports declined 13% to 42,168 units from 48,540 units a year earlier.
Alongside the sales update, the company announced that its Flying Flea electric mobility brand is expanding its retail presence in Bengaluru by adding 10 new sales and service touchpoints following the opening of its first store in Jayanagar.
Royal Enfield also introduced updates to the 2026 Classic 350, including an assist and slipper clutch and a USB Type-C fast charging port.
The company said it is proceeding with the first phase of a ₹1,225 crore greenfield manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh, which will add capacity of up to 450,000 motorcycles annually when fully operational. The plant is targeted for completion during FY2029-30.
"July was another strong month for us, marked by steady performance in our core motorcycle portfolio and an extremely encouraging response to our first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6. As we head into the festive months ahead, we are well on track to maintain our momentum," said B. Govindarajan, Managing Director, Eicher Motors, and Chief Executive Officer, Royal Enfield.
