The new mobile app enhances the rider experience by offering motorcycle customization, community engagement, and ownership tools such as service booking and maintenance tracking, developed in collaboration with UX/UI agency Onething Design.
Royal Enfield has unveiled its new mobile application, designed to enhance user experience by offering customization, community engagement, and ownership-related services.
One of the key highlights of the app is the Make It Yours (MIY) platform, which allows riders to personalize their motorcycles by selecting colors, accessories, and seating configurations directly through their mobile devices. This feature provides greater flexibility to customers before making a purchase at a dealership.
The app also integrates tools for community engagement, enabling users to explore, plan, and participate in Royal Enfield rides alongside fellow enthusiasts. Additionally, it offers practical ownership features such as service booking, maintenance tracking, and offline access to vehicle documents.
Developed in collaboration with Onething Design, a UX/UI agency specializing in digital solutions, the app aims to provide an intuitive and seamless experience while maintaining Royal Enfield’s brand identity.
Royal Enfield is one of the world’s oldest motorcycle manufacturers, with a history that dates back to 1901. The brand, originally founded in the United Kingdom, is now headquartered in India under Eicher Motors Limited. Known for its classic motorcycle designs and a strong riding culture, Royal Enfield has built a global presence with a focus on accessible and reliable motorcycles.
The company’s product lineup includes models such as the Classic 350, Meteor 350, Hunter 350, Super Meteor 650, Interceptor 650, and the Himalayan series. These motorcycles cater to a wide range of riders, from those seeking city-friendly options to adventure touring enthusiasts. Royal Enfield motorcycles are characterized by a distinctive retro-inspired design, a focus on simplicity, and a riding experience that appeals to both new and experienced motorcyclists.
Beyond manufacturing, Royal Enfield has established a strong community engagement through initiatives such as riding events, training programs, and long-distance expeditions. Events like the Himalayan Odyssey and One Ride encourage enthusiasts to explore different terrains while fostering a sense of camaraderie among riders. The company has also expanded its reach by setting up exclusive retail stores in various international markets.
In recent years, Royal Enfield has focused on digital transformation and customer experience enhancements. This includes the launch of the Make It Yours (MIY) platform, allowing riders to personalize their motorcycles, and the development of digital tools for service booking and ride planning.
