River EV Expands to North India with Flagship Delhi Store and Launches Indie Gen 3

River EV has opened its first North India store in Delhi’s Rajouri Garden, marking a major step in the company’s nationwide expansion. The new company-owned outlet, spread across 6,300 sq. ft., will serve as a hub for the brand’s Northern operations while supporting its growth plans across key cities in the region.

With the launch of the Delhi store, River EV now operates 34 outlets across the country, including locations in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Kochi, Coimbatore, Patna, and Hubli. The company has outlined an ambitious expansion roadmap, aiming to increase its presence to 80 stores nationwide by March 2026. Expansion will focus on states such as Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Gujarat.

Alongside the store launch, River introduced the Indie Gen 3, the latest version of its electric scooter. The new model features upgraded tyres for better grip, a redesigned display offering clearer information, integrated range and charging details, and enhanced app connectivity. Through its improved app interface, riders can now access ride statistics, hill-hold assist, customisable data points, and real-time charging status across multiple modes.

Speaking about the launch, Aravind Mani, Co-founder and CEO of River EV, said that Delhi represents an important milestone for the company as it expands beyond Southern India. He noted that the company-owned store and service centre will also serve as a regional training and service hub, supporting customers and expansion plans.

Vipin George, Co-founder and Chief Product Officer, highlighted that the Indie Gen 3 is designed to enhance the rider experience, combining robust build quality with intuitive features and app integration. He described the Rajouri Garden store as not just a retail outlet but a space where customers can interact with the scooter, explore accessories, and engage with the River community.

River EV has been seeing consistent growth in sales, crossing the 1,800-unit monthly sales milestone in March 2025. The Indie Gen 3 is now available for test rides and bookings at the new Delhi store, as well as through the company’s official website.

The Delhi outlet also features a curated collection of exclusive accessories and lifestyle merchandise, reinforcing River’s focus on creating a comprehensive experience for its customers.
