Under this partnership, Revamp Moto will leverage NACOF's extensive farmer network to market and distribute its portfolio of electric vehicles, targeting micro-entrepreneurs in rural and agricultural India.
Revamp Moto, a modular electric two-wheeler manufacturer in India, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NACOF Oorja, a prominent Renewable Energy developer and operator. The partnership aims to introduce innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective electric vehicle solutions in rural and agricultural sectors, facilitating enhanced mobility for farmers and micro-entrepreneurs.
At a launch event attended by distinguished guests including Ram Iqbal Singh, Founder Chairman of NACOF, and P. Sureshbabu, Managing Director of NACOF Oorja Pvt. Ltd., along with Revamp Moto's Co-Founders, the collaboration was officially announced.
Under this partnership, Revamp Moto will leverage NACOF's extensive farmer network to market and distribute its portfolio of electric vehicles, targeting micro-entrepreneurs in rural and agricultural India. NACOF's vast network has the potential to bring a significant number of Revamp Moto's EVs onto Indian roads, empowering farmers and rural entrepreneurs, the company shared.
The collaboration will see the establishment of NACOF Centers, providing micro-entrepreneurs with accessible business opportunities facilitated by Revamp Moto's versatile Modular Utility Vehicles. These EVs, equipped with swappable attachments, will enable on-the-go business operations for rural entrepreneurs.
Both companies will work with financial partners to provide tailored and affordable financial products for farmers and rural businesses, including subsidies, loans, and leasing options, to facilitate the purchase of Revamp Moto's electric vehicles.
Revamp Moto will also provide state-of-the-art fleet management solutions, leveraging integrated IoT technology for real-time vehicle tracking and performance monitoring, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and safety across the fleet.
This collaboration aligns with Revamp Moto's mission to impact 1 million lives by 2028 through innovative and sustainable mobility solutions. The MoU aims to deploy at least 1 lakh vehicles, positively impacting the lives of over half a million farmers in India and increasing their productivity, efficiency, and income levels.
