Renault Refreshes Triber 2026 with Segment-First Features and Broader Variant Access

Renault India has announced an update to its Triber multi-purpose vehicle for the 2026 model year, adding a set of new features and redistributing existing equipment across the model's four-variant lineup. The updated model is now available at prices ranging from INR 5.80 Lakhs to INR 8.00 Lakhs (ex-showroom), with an Easy-R AMT option on the top Emotion variant priced at INR 8.47 Lakhs.

Among the key additions, the top-end Emotion variant now comes equipped with automatic climate control — a feature the company describes as a segment-first. The second-row seats have also been redesigned to fold completely flat, expanding the boot capacity to 1,065 litres. Additionally, a one-touch tumble function for second-row seats — allowing easier access to the third row — is now offered as standard across the range.

Variant-Level Upgrades

The update also sees features trickle down to lower-priced variants. The Evolution variant gains steering-mounted audio and phone controls, a day-night adjustable interior rear-view mirror, and a rear room lamp. The Techno variant receives a driver seat armrest, driver seat height adjuster, rear defogger, a 12V socket for the third row, front tweeters, and electrically foldable outside rear-view mirrors.

The interior across the lineup retains the dual-tone dashboard with a 20.32 cm floating touchscreen, which supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Safety and Powertrain

The Triber 2026 continues to offer 21 standard safety features, including six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. The powertrain remains unchanged, with a 1.0-litre engine producing 72 PS at 6,250 rpm and 96 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. A five-speed manual transmission is standard across all variants, while the AMT option is available on the Emotion variant only.

The vehicle comes with a three-year standard warranty, extendable to seven years with unlimited kilometre coverage under the company's Renault Secure programme. Renault India currently operates through 638 touchpoints across the country, including 200 Workshop on Wheels locations.
