Renault Launches Triber Facelift with Design and Feature Updates
The refreshed Triber features subtle interior updates, including new upholstery choices and a slightly redesigned dashboard.
Renault India has launched the Triber facelift, the company's 7-seater car with over 35 design and feature updates. The vehicle is priced between Rs 6.29 lakhs and Rs 9.16 lakhs (ex-showroom) across four variants: Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion.
The Triber facelift features a redesigned front fascia with a grille, sculpted hood, updated bumper, and LED projector headlamps with integrated LED DRLs. The rear section includes an updated bumper, LED tail lamps, skid plate, and a taillamp connecting embellisher.
The interior now has a dual-tone dashboard with an 8-inch floating touchscreen display supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other interior updates include seat upholstery, LED instrument cluster, LED cabin lighting, and blacked-out door handles.
The Triber is the first product launched under Renault's "renault. rethink." brand transformation strategy and features the company's new brand logo. The vehicle maintains the "rethink space" philosophy with modular seating configurations.
The car offers modular seating for 5, 6, or 7 passengers with Easy-Fix third-row seats. Boot space reaches 625 liters in 5-seat mode. The second row can slide, recline, fold, and tumble, providing over 100 seating combinations.
Standard safety equipment includes six airbags across all variants, ESP, TPMS, EBD with Brake Assist, and 21 safety features total. The Triber introduces a front parking sensor, which Renault claims is a segment-first feature.
The vehicle produces 72 PS at 6,250 rpm and 96 Nm torque at 3,500 rpm. A 5-speed manual transmission is available across all variants, while the top Emotion variant also offers Easy-R AMT.
Renault said the Triber facelift is over 90% localized and manufactured at the company's Chennai facility. The model has 1.84 lakh customers in India and is exported to over a dozen countries.
The car comes with a 3-year standard warranty, extendable to 7 years under the Renault Secure program. Government-approved CNG retrofit kits are available with a 3-year warranty.
Venkatram Mamillapalle, Managing Director of Renault India, said India remains central to Renault's strategy, driven by product development, export operations, and customer satisfaction. He noted the vehicle's high localization rate demonstrates Renault's commitment to the Indian market.
Francisco Hidalgo, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Renault India, said the Triber reflects understanding of Indian family needs through engineering, modularity, and value positioning.
Renault operates over 350 sales and 450 service touchpoints across India. Bookings for the Triber facelift opened on July 23, 2025.
