Renault India, a wholly owned subsidiary of Renault Group, announced the launch of the Duster Adventure Edition, a special version of its SUV, with prices starting at ₹12.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The company said the edition is themed around "Adventure," a concept it linked to the Duster's reputation in India for ride and handling and its association with journeys beyond daily use.
The variant was unveiled in New Delhi on Bastille Day by Thierry Mathou, Ambassador of France to India, and Stéphane Deblaise, CEO of Renault Group India.
The Adventure Edition is available in three powertrain options — Turbo TCe 100 MT, Turbo TCe 160 MT and Turbo TCe 160 DCT — priced at ₹12.99 lakh, ₹13.99 lakh and ₹15.39 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.
According to Renault India, the edition includes adventure-themed exterior decals featuring topographical contour lines and the geographical coordinates of Leh, along with adventure embellishers and floor mats. The company said the reference to Leh points to the terrain where the Duster was tested during its development.
Other features listed for the variant include full LED headlamps, an electric panoramic sunroof, an electric powered tailgate, connected car services through the My Renault app, automatic dual-zone air conditioning, a 25.65 cm (10.1-inch) openR link multimedia system, and 43.18 cm (17-inch) alloy wheels.
Renault describes itself as a mobility brand focused on innovation across vehicles, technology and mobility services, and has outlined its "Renaulution" plan as part of a broader shift toward a more electrified vehicle range. Renault India said its vehicles are manufactured at a facility in Oragadam, Chennai, with an annual capacity of 480,000 units, and that the company operates close to 638 sales and service touchpoints across the country, including over 200 Workshop on Wheels locations.
