realme Partners with Aston Martin Formula One Team, Unveils GT 7 Dream Edition

Smartphone brand realme has announced a three-year strategic partnership with the Aston Martin Formula One® Team. As part of the collaboration, the company will release a co-branded smartphone, the realme GT 7 Dream Edition.

The partnership aims to combine realme’s technology with Aston Martin’s engineering and design. The GT 7 Dream Edition is the first result of the alliance. The phone will feature design elements inspired by Aston Martin, including a two-wing design and a custom green color used by the team.

Sky Li, CEO of realme, described the collaboration as a step toward enhancing innovation and design. He said only the brand's top products earn the “scarab wings” branding, symbolizing their quality and ambition.

Matt Chapman, Head of Licensing and Merchandise at Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team, said the GT 7 Dream Edition brings together performance and design. He confirmed plans to collaborate on two co-branded models each year.

The GT 7 Series Global Launch Event is scheduled for May 27 in Paris, where more details will be revealed.

Founded in 2018, realme operates in 61 markets and had over 200 million users by 2023. In India alone, it has shipped over 100 million units. The brand has focused on younger users and 5G expansion, reporting 168% year-on-year growth in 5G smartphone shipments in Q1 2024.

realme offers a range of devices across different series, including the flagship GT Series, the Number Series, and models designed for gaming and daily use. The company continues to invest in technology development, including fast charging, AI camera features, and performance optimization.
