Range Rover Launches SV Ultra In India At Rs 3.8 Crore

JLR has introduced the Range Rover SV Ultra in India at a starting price of Rs 3.8 crore (ex-showroom, New Delhi), positioning it as the new flagship variant in the Range Rover lineup. The model is available with a 395kW petrol mild-hybrid V8 powertrain, while a fully electric version is scheduled to join the range later this year.

The SV Ultra brings several new design and technology features to the Range Rover portfolio. These include an exclusive Titan Silver exterior finish with aluminium flake pigment technology, Satin Platinum Atlas and Silver Chrome accents, and 23-inch alloy wheels with Satin Platinum inserts. Inside, the SUV features a leather-free Orchid White and Cinder Grey Ultrafabrics interior, laser-crafted seat upholstery, rattan palm veneer trim and ceramic detailing.

"Range Rover SV Ultra represents the pinnacle of Range Rover luxury that combines the most exclusive design details with breakthrough innovation," said Rajan Amba, Managing Director, JLR India.

A key addition is the debut of the SV Electrostatic Sound system, which JLR says is the first application of electrostatic audio technology in a production vehicle. The system uses 21 thin-film electrostatic transducers integrated into the headrests, seatbacks and headlining, alongside five bass speakers, to deliver an immersive audio experience. It also works with the Body and Soul Seats and Sensory Floor system, which offer six wellness programmes focused on relaxation and concentration.

According to JLR, the electrostatic speakers respond faster than conventional speakers while requiring up to 90% less power and mass. The company also says the speakers are manufactured without rare earth elements and use fully upcycled and recyclable materials by mass.
