Quantum Energy Limited has announced a strategic partnership with EMO Energy to introduce the Quantum Bziness EMO, an electric scooter specifically designed for last-mile and fleet operations in India's delivery sector.
The vehicle integrates Quantum Energy's engineering capabilities with EMO Energy's patented liquid-cooled battery technology, aiming to provide a cost-efficient mobility solution for commercial operators in the country's delivery ecosystem.
Battery Technology and Performance
At the center of the Quantum Bziness EMO is EMO Energy's 2 kWh ZenPac battery, which offers a real-world range of up to 80 kilometers and a top speed of 50 kilometers per hour. The battery supports fast charging in 20 minutes using EMO's Swft fast charger.
According to the companies, the ZenPac battery has logged over 150 million kilometers in real-world operations, demonstrating approximately 1.2% degradation at 300 cycles and under 2% beyond 400 cycles. The battery system features active immersion cooling, advanced energy management, and active balancing battery management systems, supported by 25 global patents.
EMO Energy currently operates more than 1,300 fast chargers across 12 cities in India.
"Scaling last-mile mobility in India requires vehicles and energy systems to be designed together for high utilization and real-world operating conditions," said Sheetanshu Tyagi, Co-founder and CEO of EMO Energy. He noted that the collaboration combines purpose-built vehicle engineering with advanced battery technology.
Vehicle Specifications
The Quantum Bziness EMO is equipped with a 2,500-watt peak hub motor and features 12-inch wheels with a combined braking system. The scooter has a payload capacity of up to 200 kilograms, designed to handle the demands of urban and semi-urban delivery operations.
Chakravarthi C, Managing Director of Quantum Energy Limited, emphasized that the partnership strengthens the fast-charging ecosystem, enabling quicker turnaround times and higher vehicle uptime for commercial fleet operators and individual riders.
Quantum Energy maintains over 100 touchpoints across India for service and after-sales support.
Manufacturing Expansion
Quantum Energy has begun operations at a new manufacturing facility in Maheshwaram, spanning six acres. The expansion will proceed in two phases: Phase 1 will develop 55,000 square feet of built-up area by March 2026, enabling production of 10,000 units per month. Phase 2 will scale the facility to 150,000 square feet by mid-2026, with production capacity reaching 20,000 units per month by mid-2027.
The companies plan to deploy 10,000 scooters over the next 12 months.
Quantum Energy Limited is an electric two-wheeler manufacturer in India, developing vehicles for personal commuting and commercial fleet operations with a nationwide retail and service network.
