Policybazaar’s Assured Delivery program expands to 100 garages nationwide
The initiative now covers 87 cities, offering motor insurance customers faster claim settlements with dedicated support, cashless repairs, and guaranteed timelines, aiming to simplify the claims process for greater convenience and transparency.
Policybazaar has achieved a significant milestone with its Assured Delivery Program, which now covers 100 garages across 87 cities in India. The program, launched earlier this year, aims to streamline the motor insurance claims process by emphasizing convenience, transparency, and faster service for policyholders. The opening of the 100th garage in Leh marks the program's nationwide reach, including metro, tier-I, and tier-II cities.
The Assured Delivery Program provides policyholders with a dedicated relationship manager at their chosen garage. This manager oversees the claims process, from vehicle pickup and repairs to the completion of all claim approval procedures. Policyholders also receive regular updates on the status of repairs and claims.
Under the program, small repairs, involving claims under ₹50,000, are guaranteed to be completed within five days. Vehicles that qualify for the program receive priority servicing at designated workshops, ensuring quicker turnaround times. Repaired electrical and mechanical parts are covered by a warranty, adding an extra layer of assurance for customers.
Eligible customers also benefit from free pick-and-drop services for their vehicles. In the event of a claim, the vehicle is collected from the customer’s location and returned post-repair, reducing hassle. The program is exclusively available to those who have purchased motor insurance through Policybazaar.
Sandeep Saraf, Business Head for Motor Insurance Renewals and Customer Experience at Policybazaar.com, highlighted the program’s role in addressing common challenges such as repair delays and lack of updates. He noted that features like dedicated relationship managers, guaranteed repair timelines, and cashless claims have contributed to a smoother claims process.
Policybazaar plans to expand the program to include more garages in the future, with the goal of further improving the motor insurance claims experience for its customers. The program offers a cashless claim facility, eliminating out-of-pocket expenses for repairs at recommended workshops.
