Policybazaar Expands Motor Insurance Claims Programme to Over 200 Cities Across India
The Assured Delivery Programme now covers 186 cities through 200 garages, offering cashless claims, dedicated support, and seven-day repair timelines for policyholders.
Policybazaar has expanded its Assured Delivery Programme (ADP) to more than 200 cities across India, extending a service that initially launched across 100 cities. The programme now operates through a network of 200 garages in 186 cities in partnership with multiple insurers, according to a company statement dated 26 March 2026.
The initiative aims to address longstanding pain points in motor insurance claims, including delays in settlement, repeated follow-ups, and the inconvenience of multiple garage visits. Under the programme, enrolled customers are assigned a dedicated relationship manager who guides them through each stage of the claims process — from vehicle pick-up to repair completion and documentation.
Key features of the programme include cashless claims processing, complimentary vehicle pick-up and drop service, and time-bound repair commitments. Minor repairs on claims valued below ₹50,000 are targeted for completion within seven days. Repaired electrical and mechanical components carry a warranty, subject to the terms and conditions of the respective insurer.
The company reports that approximately 30,000 customers have used the programme since its 2024 launch. Policybazaar has indicated plans to deepen coverage in Tier 3 cities and smaller markets, with a stated goal of making claims settlement accessible to policyholders across the country.
Policybazaar describes itself as one of India's largest insurance brokers, with more than 80.5 million registered users and 49.3 million policies issued since its founding in 2008. The company holds a reported market share exceeding 93 percent in India's digital insurance aggregator segment and collected over ₹15,000 crore in annual premiums in the financial year ending March 2024.
The ADP is available exclusively to customers who have purchased motor insurance through the Policybazaar platform. The company has not disclosed a specific timeline for further geographic expansion beyond stating that additional growth is planned in the near term.
