Pavna Industries Begins Construction of Hosur Plant

Pavna Industries Limited has commenced construction of a new manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, marking an expansion of the company's production capabilities in southern India.

The company, which manufactures automotive components for various vehicle segments, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the facility on Sunday. The Hosur plant represents the first phase of an investment totaling ₹50 crores, with operations anticipated to start later in 2026.

The facility's location in Hosur was selected for its proximity to several original equipment manufacturers operating in the southern region. The plant will initially focus on supplying critical components to automotive clients in the area.

Swapnil Jain, Managing Director of Pavna Industries, described the ceremony as a defining moment in the company's expansion strategy. He indicated that the facility aims to enhance production capability, improve logistics efficiency, and contribute to local economic development.

Pavna Industries, incorporated in 1994 as Pavna Locks Limited, manufactures automotive parts for passenger vehicles, two-wheelers, three-wheelers, commercial vehicles, and off-road vehicles. The company's product range includes ignition switches, fuel tank caps, latches, auto locks, oil pumps, throttle bodies, and casting components.

The manufacturer currently operates facilities in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh; Aurangabad, Maharashtra; and Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. Its client base includes automotive companies such as Bajaj, Honda, TVS, Mahindra, Royal Enfield, Ashok Leyland, and Eicher Motors, among others.

Pavna Industries also maintains an export presence, supplying components to countries including Italy, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Sudan, the United States, and Bangladesh.
