Victoris petrol variants have 53 percent share of total bookings; ADAS-equipped models contribute 16 percent of tally.

One in Three Maruti Victoris Buyers Opts for CNG Variant

The Maruti Suzuki Victoris, the brand’s newest SUV racked up over 33,000 bookings since its launch. Positioned between the Brezza and the Grand Vitara, the feature-laden Victoris is sold via Maruti’s Arena outlets for a wider customer reach. The SUV had crossed 25,000 bookings mark one month ago

According to Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer (Marketing and Sales) at Maruti Suzuki, the Victoris’ CNG variants have gathered about 11,000 bookings, or roughly one-third of total demand. The Victoris CNG features an underbody-mounted tank, which helps preserve boot space a key advantage over traditional CNG setups that other Maruti Suzuki models come with. 

Additionally, Victoris pure petrol and petrol-hybrid versions together make up 53 percent of total bookings, while the ADAS-equipped variants contribute around 16 percent. Banerjee added that the strong-hybrid eCVT variants have also been well received, helping expand the SUV’s appeal among urban buyers seeking efficiency and refinement.

Launched at a starting price of Rs 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom), the Victoris’ line-up tops out at Rs 19.98 lakh (ex-showroom). Three powertrain choices are on offer, a 1.5-litre petrol engine with mild-hybrid, strong-hybrid, and CNG options.

Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed automatic, and an e-CVT. The Victoris mild-hybrid variants are available with both manual and automatic gearboxes, while the strong-hybrid comes exclusively with the e-CVT, and the CNG variant pairs with a manual transmission only. 

Deliveries for the Victoris are currently in full swing however waiting period at most locations seem to however around 8-10 weeks.
