Omega Seiki unveils M1KA 1.0 electric truck at Rs 6.99 lakh at Bharat Mobility
M1KA’s manufacturing facility is currently located in Faridabad with a new facility dedicated to truck manufacturing being set up in Chakan, Pune by the end of 2025.
Omega Seiki unveiled its M1KA 1.0 electric truck at Rs 6,99 lakh at the Bharat Mobility 2025 exhibition. It also presented the upcoming M1KA 3.0 model. Buyers can now pre-book the M1KA 1.0 at Rs 49,999. Deliveries will commence from April 2025.
The M1KA 1.0 is designed to meet the growing demands of the commercial vehicle sector while contributing to India’s transition towards a greener and more sustainable future.
M1KA’s manufacturing facility is currently located in Faridabad with a new facility dedicated to truck manufacturing being set up in Chakan, Pune by the end of 2025. According to the timeline, OSPL’s current capacity of 5000 units per year is projected to increase five-fold to 25000 units by the end of 2025.
Uday Narang, Founder and Chairman of Omega Seiki Pvt. Ltd. said, “While many electric trucks on the market are equipped with advanced features, the focus in India should be on providing high- volume, cost-effective 1-1.5 ton trucks.
The electric truck market in India is experiencing significant growth, driven by the push towards sustainability, government incentives, and the rising cost of fuel. As industries increasingly seek eco- friendly alternatives to traditional diesel trucks, there is a growing demand for electric trucks, particularly in the 1-tonne category. These trucks are ideally suited for last-mile deliveries, small businesses, and urban logistics, offering a perfect blend of affordability, practicality, and environmental benefits.
It also launched the upgraded 2025 Stream City, a next- generation electric passenger vehicle. The Electric Passenger Vehicle comes with an updated array of features such as On-Board Charger, LED Headlight, IOT, RPass and TFT Display Compatible, Bigger Wheel size of 12 Inches, Fast Charging Battery options of 10.2 kWh/ 15 kWh charging in just 20 minutes also comes with an option of Battery Swapping Technology.
