Ola clocks 2 lakh unit sales in FY23; consolidates market share to over 30%

Ola clocks 2 lakh unit sales in FY23; consolidates market share to over 30%

Ola Electric emerged as India’s best-selling and fastest-growing EV manufacturer in FY23, having sold a total of 200,000 units during this period. Maintaining its growth trajectory, Ola clocked its best month ever in March, surpassing 27000 units sales while topping the sales charts for 7 consecutive months.

Bhavish Aggarwal, Founder and CEO, Ola Electric, said, “FY23 has truly been a defining year for the EV industry in India. At Ola, we have remained resolute in prioritising scale, speed, and uncompromising quality standards, all of which have contributed to the company's consistent leadership position in the market. While last year has been successful in making EVs mainstream, the next couple of years will take the EV revolution to humanity scale, and Ola will be at the forefront of this revolution to lead this paradigm shift.” 

Ola has recently expanded the S1 portfolio range to 6 models. Powered by 2KWh, 3KWh and 4KWh battery packs, Ola launched 3 new variants of the Ola S1 Air which will be delivered starting July 2023. The company has also launched the newest variant for the Ola S1 family, which uses a 2KWh battery that is best suited for city commute.
