Odysse Electric Vehicles Reports 43% Sales Growth in May 2025

Mumbai-based Odysse Electric Vehicles recorded a 42.9% increase in sales for May 2025, selling 223 units compared to 156 units in the same month last year. The company attributed the growth to increased consumer demand for sustainable mobility solutions and the launch of two new products.

The electric vehicle manufacturer recently introduced the Evoqis Lite, an electric motorcycle positioned as a high-performance option at an accessible price point, and HyFy, a low-speed electric scooter designed for urban commuting. Both products target different segments of the growing electric vehicle market in India.

"We're encouraged to see steady growth in our monthly performance. It reflects the gradual but positive shift toward electric mobility in the country," said Nemin Vora, Founder and CEO of Odysse Electric Vehicles. The company plans to continue expanding its dealership network and service infrastructure.

Odysse Electric operates in India's electric two-wheeler segment, which has seen increased adoption as consumers seek alternatives to petrol-powered vehicles. The sector has benefited from government incentives and growing environmental awareness among urban consumers.

The company, established in 2020, currently offers seven models across different categories. Its product range includes low-speed scooters like the E2Go series and V2 series, high-speed scooters such as the SNAP and HAWK Li, electric motorcycles including the Vader and EVOQIS models, and the TROT 2.0 delivery scooter for commercial use.

Odysse Electric is part of the Vora group of companies and focuses on collaborating with component manufacturers and technology specialists for its electric mobility platform. The company's vehicles undergo durability and reliability testing before market release.

The electric vehicle market in India has experienced growth as manufacturers introduce products across various price segments. Government policies supporting electric vehicle adoption and concerns about air pollution in urban areas have contributed to increased consumer interest in electric two-wheelers.

Odysse Electric plans to continue expanding its distribution network and product offerings as it works to establish a larger presence in India's electric vehicle market.
