Oben Electric Riders Cross 3.2 Crore Kilometres on Indian Roads
The company also said that its customers have collectively saved around ₹8 crore in petrol expenses and contributed to an estimated reduction of 385 metric tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions.
Oben Electric on Tuesday said its customers have cumulatively covered over 3.2 crore kilometres across India, based on aggregated vehicle data since early 2024.
The company said the milestone reflects consistent daily usage of its electric motorcycle portfolio, including the Rorr, Rorr EZ and Rorr EZ Sigma, across urban markets and varying road conditions. The data indicates that customers are increasingly using these motorcycles for regular commuting.
Oben Electric currently operates in more than 85 cities. States such as Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi account for a significant share of the total distance covered, according to the company.
The company also said that its customers have collectively saved around ₹8 crore in petrol expenses and contributed to an estimated reduction of 385 metric tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions.
To support usage, the company offers after-sales services under its Oben Care programme, which includes service infrastructure, technician support and customer assistance.
Madhumita Agrawal, Founder and CEO of Oben Electric, said the cumulative distance reflects growing adoption of electric motorcycles for everyday mobility needs.
The announcement comes as the company continues to expand its presence. In calendar year 2025, Oben Electric reported a 376% year-on-year increase in growth. It plans to scale its retail network to 500 showrooms over the next two years.
The company manufactures its vehicles at a facility in Bengaluru, where it develops key components including battery systems, motors and vehicle control units.
