Oben Electric Plans 10 New Maharashtra Showrooms This Financial Year

Oben Electric announced plans to establish 10 new showrooms and service centers across Maharashtra during the current financial year, expanding its existing network of five locations in the state.

The Bengaluru-based electric motorcycle manufacturer currently operates four showrooms in Pune at Wakad, Shivajinagar, Dhankawadi, and Chinchwad, plus one additional location at Jalna Road in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The expansion comes as the company reports strong market response to its recently launched Rorr EZ Sigma model.

"Maharashtra has always been a trendsetter in embracing new-age mobility, with Pune at the forefront of this transition," said Harshvardhan Deshmukh, Vice President of Sales & Network Development at Oben Electric, during a media session at the Shivajinagar showroom.

The Rorr EZ Sigma, launched with an introductory price starting at ₹1.29 lakhs, features hardware and software upgrades designed for daily commuting. Available in 3.4 kWh and 4.4 kWh variants, the motorcycle offers up to 175 km range and reaches a top speed of 95 km/h. The model includes three ride modes and is powered by Oben's proprietary LFP battery technology.

To support the festive season launch, Oben Electric is offering customers benefits including a ₹20,000 price reduction already incorporated into the launch pricing, additional cashback of up to ₹10,000, and a complimentary gold coin with purchases. One customer will also receive an iPhone as part of the promotional campaign.

The company has implemented 24/7 customer support services and maintains a 90% service resolution rate within 72 hours. Each showroom includes an Oben Care service center staffed by certified technicians who handle the company's in-house developed batteries, motors, and vehicle control units.

Beyond Maharashtra, Oben Electric operates more than 50 showrooms across India in states including Karnataka, Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, Telangana, Kerala, and Uttar Pradesh. The company targets expansion to over 150 showrooms and service centers nationwide by the end of this financial year.

Founded in August 2020, Oben Electric operates a 3.5-acre manufacturing facility in Bengaluru with annual production capacity of 100,000 units. The company holds more than 25 patents for its proprietary technology and EV components, positioning itself as a research and development-focused manufacturer in India's electric motorcycle segment.
