Oben Electric has introduced its new electric motorcycle, the Rorr EVO, at an introductory price of ₹99,999 (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 customers. Subsequent pricing has been set at ₹1,24,999 (ex-showroom). Bookings are open at ₹777, with test rides and deliveries scheduled to begin from June 2026 across 150 showrooms nationwide.
The Rorr EVO is positioned as a performance-oriented electric motorcycle, offering a claimed IDC range of 180 km, a top speed of 110 km/h, and acceleration from 0–40 km/h in 3 seconds. It is powered by a proprietary 9 kW motor paired with a single-stage chain drive and a 3.4 kWh LFP battery. The company claims fast-charging capability from 0–80% in 90 minutes using its Oben Plug fast charger.

A key feature is SmartIQ, an AI-based ride mode designed to analyse riding patterns and optimise power delivery, with a claimed range improvement of up to 15%. The system aims to reduce manual intervention while balancing efficiency and performance.
The motorcycle incorporates a streetfighter-style design with features such as a projector headlamp, sculpted body panels, and a 680 mm seat. It also includes 10 litres of storage through a combination of under-seat and tank storage, along with dual USB charging ports. Seat height stands at 780 mm, with 200 mm ground clearance and a 230 mm water-wading capability.
In terms of safety and connectivity, the Rorr EVO is equipped with features such as Fall Alert with Emergency Assist, Unified Brake Assist (UBA), and a Driver Alert System (DAS). It also includes a 5-inch TFT display with navigation and smartphone connectivity via the Oben app, which enables functions such as geo-fencing, ride analytics, theft protection, and remote diagnostics.
According to Madhumita Agrawal, the product reflects a shift in how electric motorcycles are being positioned in the market, with a focus on delivering a full-spectrum riding experience rather than serving as an alternative to internal combustion engine models.
The Rorr EVO will be available in four colour options: Pulse Red, Neutron Blue, Magnetic Black, and Photon White.
