Oben Electric launches first showroom in Jaipur

Oben Electric, a homegrown electric motorcycle manufacturer in India, has expanded its presence to Rajasthan with the opening of a showroom and service center in Jaipur. Located on Tonk Road, Gandhinagar, this three-floor flagship facility is designed to meet the increasing demand for electric motorcycles in the city.

This development aligns with Oben Electric's goal of establishing a nationwide network, aiming to open over 50 showrooms and service centers across 12 major Indian cities by FY25. The Jaipur showroom will showcase the Rorr EZ, the company’s latest commuter electric motorcycle, which is priced starting at Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom).

The Jaipur facility draws inspiration from Oben Electric’s experience center in Bengaluru, featuring a futuristic design and interactive customer engagement technologies across four dedicated zones. These include Moto Live for product interaction, Moto X for exploring key components through interactive experiences, Moto Zen as a customer lounge, and Moto Rack for accessories and merchandise. 

The showroom also includes Oben Care, a service center providing after-sales support, including doorstep services, to ensure a smooth ownership experience. 

The Rorr EZ, a recent addition to Oben Electric’s product lineup, is central to the brand’s growth. It is available in three battery options – 2.6 kWh, 3.4 kWh, and 4.4 kWh – and features LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery technology, offering enhanced temperature resistance and extended battery life. The motorcycle delivers a top speed of 95 km/h and a range of up to 175 km per charge (IDC). It charges to 80% in 45 minutes, making it suitable for urban commuting. Customers in Jaipur can pre-book the Rorr EZ for Rs 2,999, with EMI options starting at Rs 2,200 per month.

Madhumita Agrawal, Founder and CEO of Oben Electric, noted the significance of entering the Jaipur market, highlighting the city’s role in the company’s expansion strategy. She emphasized the aim of supporting eco-conscious consumers with electric mobility solutions and ensuring comprehensive sales and after-sales services as part of the company’s growing network across India.
