New Maruti Suzuki Brezza Earns Five-Star Bharat NCAP Safety Rating

Maruti Suzuki India Limited's upcoming updated Brezza has received a five-star safety rating for both Adult Occupant Protection and Child Occupant Protection under the Bharat New Car Assessment Program (Bharat NCAP), the company said. The rating comes ahead of the model's scheduled market launch on July 24, 2026.

According to the assessment certificate issued by the Central Institute of Road Transport (CIRT), the vehicle scored 30.61 points out of 32 for Adult Occupant Protection and 41.50 points out of 49 for Child Occupant Protection.

The model marks Maruti Suzuki's fifth vehicle to achieve a five-star Bharat NCAP rating, joining the Dzire, Victoris, Invicto, and e Vitara.

Standard safety equipment across all variants of the New Brezza includes six airbags, an Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with Hill Hold Assist, an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), and ISOFIX child seat anchorages. The model also features additional active safety technology, including Blind Spot Warning with Lane Change Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Front Parking Sensors, a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and Safe Exit Warning.
