Hyundai will announce pricing for the new Venue on November 4, 2025. New details on the Venue reveal the SUVs engine and gearbox details along with variants on offer.
New Hyundai Venue: Powertrain and variants
The new Hyundai Venue comes with significant upgrades to its features, powertrain options, and technology package. Bookings are already open, and Hyundai will offer the new Venue across eight variants – HX2, HX4, HX5, HX6, HX6T, HX7, HX8, and HX10 – covering both petrol and diesel powertrains.
A major highlight of the 2025 Venue is the introduction of the diesel-automatic powertrain which was sorely missed in the first-gen Venue. The 1.5-litre diesel engine, which earlier came only with a manual gearbox, will now be paired with an automatic transmission on select trims. This combination will help Hyundai take on the likes of the Kia Sonet and the Syros that offer diesel-automatic combo with the same engine and gearbox and will also help take on the Nexon and the Mahindra XUV 3X0 that come with Diesel-AMT option.
Hyundai will offer diesel-automatic setup on the HX5 and HX10 variants of the new Venue while the HX2, HX5, and HX7 will continue with the 6-speed manual gearbox. The diesel engine is expected to produce around 114hp and 250Nm and will come with VGT. Alongside the diesel, the Venue continues to offer two petrol engine choices, a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol. Transmission choices include manual, a torque convertor automatic and 7-speed DCT automatic (dual-clutch transmission) options.
New Hyundai Venue: Features and equipment
Inside, the 2025 Hyundai Venue gets a significant technology and comfort boost. The Venue now gets dual 12.3-inch displays one for the digital instrument cluster and the other for the infotainment duties. rear window sunshades, ventilated front seats, moon white ambient lighting, a 8-speaker Bose premium audio system, automatic climate control, wireless phone charging, a 4-way powered driver’s seat and keyless entry with push-button start among others.
New Hyundai Venue safety tech
Safety has also been given a notable upgrade. The 2025 Venue now comes with six airbags as standard, along with ABS with EBD, ESC, hill hold assist, ISOFIX mounts, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Hyundai has also added new features such as front parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold.
