New Holland Expands Agricultural Implement Portfolio with New Rotary Tiller Series
Equipment manufacturer introduces Pune-built heavy-duty rotavators to address deeper tillage and corrosion protection requirements in regional farming sectors.
New Holland, an agricultural equipment brand under CNH Industrial, has expanded its product presence in India with the introduction of its HD and XHD Series Rotary Tillers. The new rotavator models, which are manufactured at the company's production facility in Pune, were officially presented at an event at its Greater Noida location. The introduction was attended by corporate leadership, including Narinder Mittal, President and Managing Director of CNH India.
The corporate decision to expand its implement line comes amid steady demand for specialized machinery capable of handling varying regional soil structures. Tarun Khanna, Director of Marketing (AG) India for New Holland, noted that the demand for reliable mechanization solutions continues to rise as agricultural operators look for improved operational efficiency and durability under demanding field conditions.
The technical specifications of the HD and XHD series are said to focus on extending machine lifespans and improving deep tillage performance. The implements feature a high swing diameter designed for deeper soil penetration and conditioning, alongside a multi-speed gearbox to give operators formatting flexibility across different soil types. To prevent premature component wear, the machinery incorporates Metal Twin-Faced seals to mitigate water ingress in the rotor hub, as well as DTM paint technology intended to enhance corrosion resistance during wet field operations.
