New Gravite and Magnite Demand Lifts Nissan Domestic Sales by 75 Percent in April

Nissan Motor India Private Limited reported a 75 percent year on year increase in domestic sales for April 2026, dispatching 3,203 units to dealers. The automaker recorded total sales of 5,388 units during the month, a figure that includes 2,185 units shipped to export markets. The domestic sales volume was supported by the newly launched Gravite and sustained volumes from the Magnite compact SUV.

Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, noted that the customer response to the Gravite and Magnite models aligns with the evolving expectations of Indian buyers. "We are extremely encouraged by the positive start to the new financial year," Vatsa stated. He added that the sales momentum strengthens the company's market confidence as it prepares to introduce new products and expand its retail network footprint across the country within the current financial year.

The automaker currently serves both domestic and export markets across 65 international destinations. In 2025, the company reached a milestone of 12 lakh cumulative vehicle exports. Additionally, the Nissan Magnite has registered a global customer base exceeding two lakh units.
