Montra Electric Opens Two New Dealerships in Maharashtra

Montra Electric has inaugurated two exclusive electric small commercial vehicle dealerships in Bhiwandi and Panvel, expanding its retail presence in Maharashtra's logistics sector. The outlets will be operated by Autobahn VoltiGo, marking the company's continued growth in India's largest logistics market.

The new dealerships are positioned in key areas of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region's cargo belt, providing fleet operators and entrepreneurs with access to Montra Electric's e-SCV range along with after-sales and service support.

The outlets will retail the company's flagship EViator, an electric small commercial vehicle designed for intercity and intracity cargo transportation. The vehicle features an 80kW motor delivering 300 Nm of torque, with a certified range of 245 km and a real-world range exceeding 170 km.

Saju Nair, CEO of Montra Electric e-SCV at TI Clean Mobility, stated that the EViator is engineered to meet the operational requirements of India's logistics ecosystem. The vehicle includes advanced telematics for uptime optimization and comes with a seven-year or 2.5 lakh km extended warranty.

Farzad, Managing Director of Autobahn Trucking Corporation, noted that the partnership extends the company's operations with Montra Electric beyond Kerala and Pune into the Mumbai region, focusing on customer accessibility and service standards.

The company's portfolio includes electric commercial vehicles across multiple categories, from three-wheelers to India's first 55-ton electric truck trailer.

The dealership openings represent part of Montra Electric's broader retail expansion strategy across India's commercial vehicle market.
