MINI India has commenced pre-launch bookings for the new MINI Convertible, marking the arrival of the brand's signature open-air driving experience in the Indian market. The vehicle is scheduled for an official launch in December 2025.
The new MINI Convertible combines the brand's characteristic design language with contemporary automotive technology. The compact convertible features a fully electric soft top mechanism that operates in 18 seconds, enabling drivers to transition between closed and open-air configurations quickly.
The vehicle is positioned to offer urban and touring driving experiences, equipped with modern connectivity features, customizable interior options, and engine specifications designed for performance and efficiency. MINI describes the convertible as representing the brand's approach to spirited driving and open-top motoring.
Prospective buyers can reserve the vehicle through MINI's network of ten authorized dealerships across India. The dealership locations include Delhi, Gurugram, Pune, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Kolkata, operated by partners including Bird Automotive, Bavaria Motors, EVM Autokraft, Gallops Autohaus, Infinity Cars, Krishna Automobiles, KUN Exclusive, and OSL Prestige.
The MINI Convertible enters a premium compact convertible segment in India, offering an alternative for buyers seeking open-air driving dynamics in a compact package. Further details regarding pricing, specifications, and variant options are expected to be announced closer to the December launch date.
