Minda Corporation Reports 19% Revenue Growth in Q2 FY2026

Minda Corporation Limited, the flagship company of Spark Minda, reported its financial results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2025, recording a consolidated revenue of Rs 1,535 crore, marking a 19% year-on-year growth. The company's profit after tax stood at Rs 85 crore for the quarter, representing a 13.9% increase compared to the same period last year.

The auto component manufacturer's EBITDA for Q2 reached Rs 178 crore with a margin of 11.6%, showing a 22 basis points improvement year-on-year. However, profit before tax declined 3.3% to Rs 93 crore, with margins at 6.0% compared to 7.4% in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

For the first half of FY2026, Minda Corporation achieved consolidated revenue of Rs 2,921 crore, up 17.7% year-on-year. The company's half-yearly EBITDA stood at Rs 334 crore with an 11.4% margin, while PAT reached Rs 150 crore, reflecting an 8.2% increase over H1 FY2025.

The company attributed its performance to a strong product portfolio, expanding customer base, and focus on product premiumisation. During H1 FY2026, Minda Corporation secured lifetime orders totalling over Rs 3,600 crores, with strategic wins across both internal combustion engine and electric vehicle segments.

Ashok Minda, Chairman and Group CEO, commented that the company delivered steady performance supported by its strong market position and sustained demand across key vehicle segments. He highlighted that operational efficiency, technological innovation, and an expanding customer base helped maintain growth momentum despite a dynamic industry environment.

Minda noted that recent GST rationalisation and the government's continued push under Make in India are expected to support demand and strengthen domestic manufacturing. The festive season provided positive momentum to overall automotive demand, with the company continuing to outperform industry growth.

Looking ahead, the company plans to focus on expanding its product portfolio through sustained R&D investments and strategic partnerships, while enhancing its presence in the electric vehicle segment and pursuing long-term growth through new technologies and market expansion.

Minda Corporation, incorporated in 1985, manufactures automotive components with a diversified portfolio encompassing mechatronics, information and connected systems, and plastic and interior products for various vehicle segments. The company serves Indian and global original equipment manufacturers across two-wheelers, three-wheelers, passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and off-roaders.
