MG Windsor PRO Records 8,000 Bookings Within 24 Hours of Launch
JSW MG Motor India’s new electric vehicle, the Windsor PRO, receives 8,000 bookings within a day of launch. The vehicle is priced at Rs 18.09 lakh (ex-showroom) and is also available under a BaaS model.
JSW MG Motor India has reported that its recently launched electric vehicle, the MG Windsor PRO, received 8,000 bookings within 24 hours. The vehicle is priced at Rs 18,09,800 (ex-showroom). It is also being offered under the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, which includes a base price of Rs 13.09 lakh with a per-kilometre usage charge of Rs 4.5.
According to the company, the MG Windsor PRO is available in a single variant called Essence PRO. The vehicle is equipped with a 52.9 kWh battery pack that offers a certified driving range of 449 kilometres. It delivers 136 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque.
In terms of safety features, the Windsor PRO includes Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with 12 functionalities and three levels of alerts. Additional features include Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging capabilities. A powered tailgate has also been introduced in the model.
The car is now available in three new exterior colours: Celadon Blue, Aurora Silver, and Glaze Red.
JSW MG Motor India Pvt. Ltd. was formed in 2023 as a joint venture between SAIC Motor and the JSW Group. The company has stated its objective to promote sustainable and localized manufacturing practices while expanding access to modern automotive technologies in the Indian market.
