MG India Officially Launches Majestor SUV

JSW MG Motor India has officially launched its newest SUV, the MG Majestor, in the domestic market with prices starting from Rs 40.99 lakh ex-showroom for the two wheel drive top trim. The new car is also available in a four wheel drive top variant, which has been priced at Rs 44.99 lakh ex-showroom. 

The vehicle is powered by a twin turbo diesel engine that generates 215.5 PS of power and 478.5 Nm of torque. This powertrain is paired with an eight speed automatic transmission across both drivetrain variants. The model measures 5,046 mm in length, 2,016 mm in width, and 1,870 mm in height, riding on a wheelbase spanning 2,950 mm. The vehicle is available in either six or seven seater interior configurations depending on the chosen trim.

For off road operations, the four wheel drive version features ten terrain modes, crawl control, and an automatic transfer case that activates the secondary axle when wheel slip is detected. The variant is also equipped with triple differential locks across the front, rear, and centre positions to improve traction on difficult surfaces. The utility vehicle offers a ground clearance of 219 mm and a rated water wading capability of 810 mm.

The cabin comes equipped with Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) to provide semi autonomous steering and braking capabilities. Active equipment includes an electronic parking brake, dual 12.3 inch electronic displays, three zone automatic climate control, a 12 speaker audio layout, and a 360 degree camera system. The initial purchase package includes a three year unlimited kilometre warranty, three years of roadside assistance, and an assured commercial buyback option valued at up to 70 percent.
