McLaren will end production of the 750S in 2027 as part of a restructuring of its model range, and the British carmaker is now accepting final orders for the mid-engined V8 supercar, which is currently its flagship series-production model. The 750S was launched globally in 2023 as an updated successor to the 720S.
In India, the 750S is sold in Coupe and Spider body styles, priced at Rs 4.94 crore and Rs 5.46 crore respectively, before options.
The 750S has a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 producing 750hp and 800Nm of torque. Power goes to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. McLaren claims a 0-100kph time of 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 332kph.
The Coupe has a kerb weight of 1,389kg and a power-to-weight ratio of 540hp per tonne. The Spider is 49kg heavier.
The 750S, the Artura and the GTS currently make up McLaren’s series-production line-up. McLaren plans to discontinue the Artura and GTS by 2028.
McLaren has also revealed a new logo and confirmed it is developing its first SUV. The SUV is expected to compete with the Lamborghini Urus SE, Aston Martin DBX and Ferrari Purosangue. It will use a hybrid powertrain and will be the first front-engined McLaren road car.
McLaren also plans to develop and manufacture engines and gearboxes in-house for the first time, supported by a new factory in the UK.
