Maruti Wagon R Waltz Edition priced at Rs 5.65 lakh

Maruti Suzuki has launched a limited edition of the Wagon R called the ‘Waltz Edition’, priced from Rs 5.65 lakh onwards. The Wagon R Waltz Edition gets a few visual enhancements along with some additional features.

The Wagon R Waltz Edition gets fog lamps, chrome garnish for fog lamps, wheel-arch cladding, bumper protectors, side skirts, body side moulding, designer floor mats, interior styling kits and chrome treatment on the grille. On the features front, the Waltz Edition adds a 6.2-inch touchscreen and a reverse parking camera.

While Maruti says that the Wagon R Waltz Edition is a limited-run model, it hasn’t revealed how many units will be available or for how long it will be on sale. The Waltz Edition is available across LXi, VXi and ZXi variants, but variant-wise prices are yet to be revealed.

The Waltz Edition comes with both 1.0-litre three-cylinder NA petrol engine making 67hp and 89Nm and the 1.2-litre, four-cylinder NA petrol producing 90hp and 113Nm. Both engines can be had with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or an optional 5-speed AMT. There’s also a CNG option on the 1.0-litre engine with a standard 5-speed MT.

The Maruti Wagon R competes with the Tata Tiago and Citroen C3, and its own sibling, the Celerio.
