Maruti Suzuki India Limited has announced its sales performance for July 2025, reporting total sales of 180,526 units. This includes 140,570 units sold domestically, 8,211 units sold to other original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and 31,745 units exported.
Domestic passenger vehicle (PV) sales stood at 137,776 units during the month, marginally higher than the 137,463 units sold in July 2024. This category comprised 72,662 passenger cars, 52,773 utility vehicles, and 12,341 units from the van segment, primarily the Eeco model. Light commercial vehicle (LCV) sales, led by the Super Carry, totaled 2,794 units.
In the passenger car segment, the Mini+Compact category recorded combined sales of 72,489 units. The compact segment, including models such as the Swift, Dzire, Baleno, and WagonR, contributed 65,667 units—up from 58,682 units in the same month last year. However, sales in the mini segment, comprising the Alto and S-Presso, declined to 6,822 units compared to 9,960 units in July 2024.
Sales of mid-size cars, including the Ciaz, totaled 173 units, a decrease from 603 units in the year-ago period. Among utility vehicles, the Brezza, Ertiga, Grand Vitara, and other models in the segment accounted for 52,773 units, slightly lower than the 56,302 units sold in July 2024.
Exports during the month reached 31,745 units, reflecting a significant increase from the 23,985 units exported in July 2024. Sales to other OEMs amounted to 8,211 units, down from 10,702 units in the same period last year.
For the first four months of the financial year 2025–26 (April–July 2025), Maruti Suzuki’s total sales reached 708,387 units, compared to 696,909 units in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. Domestic sales (including PV, LCV, and OEM) totaled 148,781 units in July 2025, against 151,056 units in July 2024.
