Maruti Suzuki Launches 2025 Grand Vitara S-CNG with Standard Six Airbags

Maruti Suzuki India Limited announced the launch of the 2025 Grand Vitara S-CNG on Monday, with prices starting at Rs 13.48 lakh ex-showroom Delhi. The vehicle comes equipped with six airbags as standard safety equipment across both available variants.

The 2025 Grand Vitara S-CNG is powered by a Next-Gen K-series 1.5-litre, Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine that delivers a fuel efficiency of 26.6 km/kg as certified under Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989. The company offers the S-CNG variant in two trim levels: Delta CNG priced at Rs 13.48 lakh and Zeta CNG at Rs 15.62 lakh.

Safety features include Electronic Stability Program with Hill Hold Assist, Anti-lock Braking System with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, front and rear disc brakes, and ISOFIX child seat restraint system. The vehicle measures 4,345mm in length, 1,795mm in width, and 1,645mm in height.

The new variant includes convenience features such as Auto Purify with PM 2.5 Display, a 22.86cm SmartPlay Pro+ entertainment system with wireless connectivity, Premium Sound System by Clarion, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, wireless charging dock, and ventilated front seats. Additional features comprise automatic climate control, rear AC vents, reclining rear seats with 60:40 split, keyless entry with push start/stop button, and auto-folding outside rear view mirrors.

Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer for Marketing and Sales at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, stated that the new Grand Vitara S-CNG offers convenience and safety features while maintaining fuel efficiency without compromising the driving experience.

The Grand Vitara model range includes multiple powertrain options beyond the S-CNG variant, with the company offering Strong Hybrid and ALLGRIP SELECT 4x4 technologies as part of its environment-friendly vehicle portfolio. The CNG engine produces maximum power of 64.6kW at 5,500rpm and peak torque of 121.5 Nm at 4,200rpm in CNG mode.
