Maruti Suzuki collaborates with Integral University, Lucknow to offer B. Com in Automobile Retail Management
The course curriculum has been jointly curated by Maruti Suzuki and Integral University, Lucknow as per automobile industry requirements.
Maruti Suzuki India has announced its partnership with Integral University, Lucknow to jointly offer B. Com in Automobile Retail Management. As a part of the MoU, the company and the institute will collaborate to offer an extensive three-year industry-oriented programme. The students will be provided with holistic skilling via one-year theoretical training followed by two years of On-the-Job Training (OJT).
The course curriculum has been jointly curated by Maruti Suzuki and Integral University, Lucknow as per automobile industry requirements, and aligns with the prescribed UGC guidelines.
The OJT at Maruti Suzuki dealerships in Lucknow will enable the students to gain experience in an actual work environment. Under the ‘Earn While You Learn’ model, the students will also be offered a stipend during the two-year OJT period. Once the student completes the course, the company will support the placement of these students at Maruti Suzuki dealerships, subject to their performance.
Maruti Suzuki’s Industry Integrated Degree Programme
Under its Industry Integrated Degree Programme initiative, Maruti Suzuki has collaborated with universities across the country to extend skill training in automobile retail. These efforts are a part of the Company’s Skill Development initiative. Post collaboration with Integral University, Lucknow, Maruti Suzuki now has tie-ups with ten universities in nine cities. More than 400 students are being trained as a part of these partnerships across different cities.
