Mahindra Unveils XUV 7XO Premium SUV, World Premiere Set for January 2026
Indian automaker announces successor to popular XUV700 model with enhanced features and performance capabilities.
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has officially revealed the name of its upcoming premium SUV, the XUV 7XO, which will make its world premiere on January 5, 2026.
The new model builds upon the foundation of the XUV700, which has accumulated over 300,000 customers since its launch four years ago. According to the company, the XUV 7XO represents an evolution of its predecessor with improvements in design, technology, comfort, and performance.
The announcement comes as Mahindra seeks to strengthen its position in India's premium SUV segment. The company describes the vehicle as being engineered to combine the established features of the XUV700 with upgraded specifications across multiple categories.
Mahindra currently holds a leadership position in India's utility SUV market and operates as the world's largest tractor manufacturer by volume. The Mumbai-based company, founded in 1945, employs 324,000 people across more than 100 countries.
The XUV 7XO name reveal has been accompanied by promotional content released across multiple social media platforms, including dedicated pages on Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook. Additional details about specifications, pricing, and availability are expected to be disclosed during the January premiere event.
The company has made the announcement through official filings with the National Stock Exchange of India, BSE Limited, and international exchanges in Luxembourg and London.
