The event celebrated the achievements of over 1,200 farmers across India, highlighting their success in integrating technology.

Mahindra Tractors hosts millionaire farmer of India Awards 2024

Mahindra Tractors, one of India’s prominent tractor brands, organised the second edition of the Millionaire Farmer of India Awards. The event, held from December 1 to 3 at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) in New Delhi, aimed to recognise and celebrate the achievements of farmers across the country.  

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Shri Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Road, Transport, and Highways; Shri Bhagirath Chaudhary, Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare; Prof. Ramesh Chand, Member of NITI Aayog and Chairman of the Institute of Economic Growth; and Shri SP Singh Baghel, Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, along with other notable officials.  

The awards recognised over 1,200 farmers across 300 categories at district, state, and national levels. Categories included horticulture, spices, poultry, and dairy farming, among others. The event also featured a showcase of Mahindra’s range of tractors and farm mechanization solutions, including the Mahindra OJA, a lightweight 4WD tractor.  

The Millionaire Farmer of India Awards is an initiative aimed at acknowledging farmers who have achieved significant productivity and profitability through the integration of technology and best farming practices. It seeks to inspire others in the agriculture sector by highlighting these achievements.  

Mahindra Tractors also announced plans to continue engaging with farmers throughout the year via roadshows and activities at Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs).  

Mahindra Tractors, which has been operational for nearly six decades, has built a strong presence in India and international markets. The company has expanded its portfolio to over 390 tractor models and established a robust network of more than 1,200 dealers across India. Its tractors are designed for durability and efficiency, developed with advanced R&D and tested to meet high-quality standards.  

The company’s tractors are known for their wide range of applications and are supported by a comprehensive sales and service network, contributing to a large customer base of 40 lakh users in India and abroad.
