Mahindra Tractor Sales Rise 5% to 27,595 Units in August 2026

Mahindra & Mahindra's Farm Equipment Business reported domestic tractor sales of 27,595 units in August 2026, up 5% from 26,201 units in August 2025.

Total tractor sales, including exports, rose 5% to 29,507 units during the month, compared with 28,117 units a year earlier. Export volumes stood at 1,912 units, marginally lower than the 1,916 units reported in August 2025.

Mahindra said improved rainfall conditions had supported near-normal Kharif sowing. The company also pointed to government schemes and the upcoming festive season as factors that could support rural sentiment.

Mahindra tractor sales in FY2027 to date

For the year to date through August 2026, Mahindra's domestic tractor sales increased 17% to 212,664 units, compared with 182,390 units in the corresponding period a year earlier.

Exports for the same period rose 9% to 9,304 units. Total tractor sales for the April-August period increased 16% to 221,968 units.
