Mahindra & Mahindra reported domestic utility vehicle sales of 59,257 units in August 2026, up 50% year on year, while total vehicle sales, including exports, rose 42% to 107,648 units.
The company's overall utility vehicle sales, including exports, stood at 61,167 units during the month. Mahindra's domestic commercial vehicle sales were up 22% at 27,415 units, while exports increased 71% to 6,054 units.
Mahindra attributed the August performance to demand across its vehicle portfolio, with the updated Scorpio-N and the BE 6 SPORTEQ among the models cited by the company as receiving customer interest.
Mahindra SUV sales in FY2027 to date
For the year to date through August 2026, Mahindra's domestic utility vehicle sales increased 22% to 294,050 units, compared with 241,337 units in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Total exports for the April-August period stood at 26,012 units, up 63% year on year.
Mahindra commercial vehicles and three-wheelers
In the domestic market, Mahindra sold 3,999 LCVs below 2 tonnes, up 37%, while sales of LCVs in the 2-3.5-tonne category increased 20% to 23,416 units. Three-wheeler sales, including electric three-wheelers, rose 42% to 14,922 units.
