Mahindra SUV Sales Rise 20% To 60,048 Units In July

Domestic SUV sales reached 60,048 units in July 2026 as Mahindra's passenger vehicle volumes grew 20% year-on-year, with year-to-date sales also remaining higher.

Mahindra SUV Sales Rise 20% To 60,048 Units In July

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) reported domestic passenger vehicle sales of 60,048 units in July 2026, marking a 20% year-on-year increase from 49,871 units in the same month last year. Utility vehicles accounted for the company's entire passenger vehicle portfolio during the month, with no sales reported in the cars and vans category.

On a year-to-date basis, Mahindra sold 234,793 passenger vehicles between April and July FY27, up 16% from 201,938 units in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.

Mahindra's July performance followed a stronger June, when the automaker had reported domestic SUV sales of 60,393 units, up 28% year-on-year, with total passenger vehicle volumes, including exports, at 61,504 units. July volumes eased marginally on a sequential basis to 60,048 domestic SUVs and 60,887 total passenger vehicles, although the company continued to post double-digit year-on-year growth.

Overall, Mahindra's total vehicle sales, including exports, stood at 103,860 units in July, representing a 26% increase over the same month last year. Utility vehicle exports took the company's overall SUV volumes to 60,887 units during the month.

"In July we achieved SUV sales of 60,048 units delivering growth of 20%. The total vehicle sales stood at 103,860, a 26% YoY growth reflecting all-round demand traction across the portfolio," said Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, M&M.
