Mahindra Launches Tricolour-Themed Limited Edition Tractors for Republic Day

Mumbai-based Mahindra Tractors announced the release of limited edition tractors inspired by India's national flag colours on January 22, 2026. The company, which holds the position of India's leading tractor brand and the world's largest tractor manufacturer by volume, has designed these special variants to honour the country's farmers.

The limited edition tractors are based on the Yuvo Tech+ 585 DI 4WD model and come in three colour options: Metallic Orange, Everest White, and Metallic Green. Customers purchasing the Metallic Green variant will receive additional accessories including a rope, jerrican, and Mahindra flag.

According to Parikshit Ghosh, VP and Head of Marketing and National Business Operations at Mahindra Tractors, the initiative combines purpose with national pride. The limited edition tractors will be available at selected Mahindra dealerships across India starting January 26.

The Yuvo Tech+ 585 DI Limited Edition features a four-cylinder engine with a maximum power take-off output of 33.9 kW (45.4 HP). The tractor delivers a peak torque of 215 Nm with 18 per cent backup torque, designed to handle heavy-duty farm operations and difficult soil conditions.

Technical specifications include a 2000 kg hydraulic lift capacity, dual clutch system, multi-speed power take-off, and auxiliary valve. The transmission offers 12 forward and three reverse gears for operational flexibility. Power steering reduces operator fatigue during extended use, while the 9.5 x 20-inch front tyres and 14.9 x 28-inch rear tyres provide stability across various field conditions.

Mahindra has manufactured tractors since 1963 and became the first Indian tractor brand to sell three million units globally in March 2019. The company operates in India and over 50 international markets, supported by an extensive sales and service network.
