Magenta Mobility Partners with Bosch to Strengthen Digital Infrastructure for EV Fleet Expansion

Magenta Mobility, an integrated electric mobility solutions provider, has partnered with Bosch Mobility Platform and Solutions to bolster its digital infrastructure and backend operations. The collaboration is designed to support Magenta’s next phase of growth, with a focus on building a secure, scalable, and resilient digital ecosystem.

Under the agreement, Bosch will provide technical expertise in cloud engineering, infrastructure management, vulnerability management, and digital operations. These services will reinforce Magenta’s efforts to scale its operations while maintaining efficiency and system integrity.

Currently operating a fleet of over 2,700 electric vehicles across seven Indian cities, Magenta is targeting an expansion to 10,000 electric cargo vehicles by 2026. This is part of its broader 'Ab Ki Baar Dus Hazaar' campaign, which also emphasizes employment generation for India’s gig workforce.

Magenta’s technology stack, including its in-house-developed platforms such as the proprietary telematics system NorMinc and mobility optimization solutions, will continue to be managed internally. Bosch’s role will be to complement these systems by enhancing the company’s digital operations and infrastructure support.

Maxson Lewis, Managing Director and CEO of Magenta Mobility, stated that technology remains central to the company’s operations and growth. He added that Bosch’s support in cloud and infrastructure operations would strengthen Magenta’s digital roadmap.

Pradeep Ramachandra, Chief Technology Officer at Bosch MPS, noted that the company aims to assist Magenta in scaling up its digital foundation to support the wider transformation toward electric mobility in India.

Magenta currently operates in 18+ cities, catering to sectors such as e-commerce, grocery, FMCG, and pharmaceuticals, focusing on mid- and last-mile deliveries. The company runs 100 charging depots, completes over 1.4 million deliveries monthly, and has clocked 35.2 million clean kilometers. It has offset 1,030 tonnes of CO₂ and employs more than 2,700 delivery executives.
