Magenta Mobility Names Bhavesh Panchal as Chief Technology Officer

Magenta Mobility announced Monday the appointment of Bhavesh Panchal as Chief Technology Officer, tasked with directing the company's technology strategy and digital transformation efforts across its operations in India.

Panchal brings 25 years of experience in digital transformation programs, with expertise spanning cloud adoption, enterprise applications, artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, and cybersecurity.

He will oversee the development of technology solutions aligned with environmental, social, and governance principles while advancing platforms designed to enhance stakeholder value.

"His leadership will strengthen our digital-first strategy and ensure that technology continues to be a key driver of growth and innovation at Magenta Mobility."

Before joining Magenta Mobility, Panchal held positions at VFS Global, Hitachi Consulting, Deloitte, and Mahindra & Mahindra, where he managed digital programs across multiple industries and geographic regions.

Mumbai-based Magenta Mobility operates as an integrated electric mobility solutions provider, focusing on supply chain decarbonization through logistics services.

The company maintains a fleet of more than 2,700 electric vehicles operating across 22 cities, serving sectors including e-commerce, grocery, fast-moving consumer goods, and pharmaceuticals for mid-mile and last-mile deliveries.

The company operates more than 100 charging depots equipped with 1,500 chargers and completes 36,000 monthly deliveries. Through its "Ab Ki Baar Dus Hazaar" campaign, Magenta Mobility aims to expand its fleet to 10,000 electric cargo vehicles while creating employment opportunities.

According to company data, Magenta Mobility has driven more than 600 million clean kilometers, offset 3,200 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions, and employs more than 2,700 delivery personnel. The appointment represents part of the company's efforts to strengthen its leadership team as it continues expansion in the electric mobility sector.
