Lumax Auto Technologies’ aftermarket division teams up with Bluechem Group

Lumax Auto Technologies Limited (“LATL”), a prominent Tier-1 automotive systems and components manufacturer, has forged a strategic partnership with Germany-based Bluechem Group, a leader in innovative automotive car care solutions.

This partnership aims to offer Indian consumers world-class automotive care products, spanning preventive and maintenance solutions, additives, car and bike care, diagnostic software, and tools. With the Indian Car Care Products and Services Market witnessing robust growth, estimated at Rs 1,200 crore in 2023, this collaboration is poised to capitalize on the burgeoning demand.

The Bluechem Group, with a strong presence in over 120 countries, is globally recognised for its cutting-edge automotive maintenance and care products. Their products are endorsed by leading auto manufacturers worldwide, including BMW, Ford, Toyota, and Volkswagen.

Sanjay Bhagat, Sr. EVP - Head Aftermarket Division, Lumax Auto Technologies Limited, expressed optimism about the collaboration, stating, "Our partnership with Bluechem opens doors to a range of robust products tailored for the Indian market. Leveraging Lumax Group's strong OEM relationships and Bluechem's expertise, we anticipate significant growth, targeting a CAGR of 40% over the next three years."

The product range includes a diverse array of solutions such as engine cleaners, oil treatments, diesel system cleaners, and more. These co-branded products will be distributed through Lumax Aftermarket's extensive network of channel partners and workshops across India, with initial offerings comprising 30 SKUs.

Nikhil Junnarkar, Director of South Asia & Regional Head- India, South Asia, Middle East & Africa, Bluechem Group, highlighted the focus on enhancing consumer experiences through this partnership. He emphasized Bluechem's commitment to introducing their entire range of automotive care and maintenance products to the Indian market.
